The academic program at Music Department | Bellarmine Preparatory places an emphasis on every aspect of student growth and development, while meeting state requirements. Mision & Vision
String Orchestra
STRING ORCHESTRA - is a year-long class for all string players. Students will perform standard and
contemporary chamber orchestra literature and have opportunities for solo and small ensemble
performances. The class focuses on improving technique, style, and musical concepts, working on
both technical skills and overall musicianship. Students will work to improve tone production, sight-reading, ensemble performance and technical skills on their instrument. Chamber Orchestra
performs at school concerts and participates in festivals.
